The design for a music hall and a museum for contemporary arts is characterized by an original interplay between the two different structures. The configuration of buildings leaves open a wide square in the middle which offers a well thought view relationship between the old castle and the old town, without taking the bait to accentuate the imaginary castle axis.

The music hall rather is a sculptural structure that is developed spatially through a suspensful ribbon of ramps, stairs and entrances. The severe cube of the museum is dismantled by an emblematic ribbon, wrapped around the facade.
