"The new yearbook »Von etwas das nie aufhört« [Of something that never stops] documents the past two years’ activities with contributions from fellows in photos, reports and images. The book was designed in Buenos Aires and produced on the hand press in the Eloísa Cartonera’s print workshop, where each copy was individually painted and bound. The inserted placard with color photos was produced in Stuttgart and invites readers to complete their copies by pasting the photos in the book!
Because just words and images don’t do justice to the Solitude fellows’ work, the book also contains a music CD of the SWR recording of a concert by Gavriel Lipkind, who world-premiered a new collective work the »Solitude Cycle« for cello and live electronics in the Ludwigsburg Castle in June 2007. All of the composers in the 2006/7 Solitude generation were involved. And moving pictures are presented in an Akademie yearbook for the first time. More than 20 film and video entries, animations and video loops, as well as performance theater and installation documentation, feature the media most valued and preferred by the youngest generation of artists." /press text by Akademie Schloss Solitude
