The programm "Kunst-Stück" facilitates a creative partnership between elementary schools and cultural institutions. Artists from various fields will work with children on a certain topic in order to establish a dialogue between art and education.

The workshop "inside.out" will take place at the Maria-Montessori Elementary School in Hausen, near Stuttgart. It will be an open laboratory whose experimental charakter crosses disciplinary boundaries. Fundamental aspects will be discussed and worked with, such different methods of producing space, working with textile materiality and the performative. During this workshop we will question statically fixed architecture - rather flexible, continuously changing spaces will be generated. Spaces that relate to the body, its senses and respective materiality. Participation and changeability open up a new horizon in the scope of the active shaping of our environment.
